- Tech found thermostat energizing W when in cool mode, bringing the heat strips on. Advised customer that the thermostat needs to be replaced; customer opted to replace it on their own. Disconnected W from the low voltage circuit per customer request. Advised customer that the defrost sequence will not operate normally without the heat strips. Confirmed reversing valve operation and normal heat operation. No charge due to recent visit.

- Tech found gas valve receiving 24 volts but not allowing any gas through. Could not access inlet gas pressure on the valve due to the gas pressure sensor installed on the inlet port. Could not locate the propane gas tank; disconnected the gas line at the union and confirmed gas exiting the pipeline. Ignition control board is only sending 4.7 volts when calling for second stage and not opening the gas valve. When calling for first stage, gas valve intermittently opens and closes, indicating a failed solenoid internally. Tech replaced gas valve with a 2 stage valve and reconfigured the wiring to accommodate the change in wire connections. Tech removed the gas pressure sensor from the circuit and left parts in the electrical compartment. Observed low inlet pressure upon startup reading 6 inches of water column and steadily decreasing during operation. Customer discovered where the propane tank was located underground; tech observed that the tank is empty. Advised customer to refill it a

Returned and removed duct detector for unit 2. Inspector wanted it removed since it is not needed. Need to send pics to inspector.

- Customer informed tech that the system was running in cool mode but still producing heat. - Tech found Google Nest thermostat not energizing the O terminal when in cool mode, causing the system to run in heat mode. Advised customer and provided estimate. Customer will replace the thermostat on their own. - Tech recommended a service agreement; customer declined at this time. - Tech re-secured panel insulation, tested electric heat strips and confirmed defrost operation. System is heating normally at this time.

Came out to quote a new water heater. Customer wants a quote on a hybrid and a regular electric water heater.

Found a water filtration system installed on the house that has not been serviced in over three years. Advise the customer they need to have the filter changed and the water purification system serviced. Drained and flushed out the new water heater just for good measure and water was crystal clear with no sediment draining from the heater.

Tech performed esa on one system, tech did not find any challenges with system at today’s visit. System is back on and operating properly after completion of service. Customer renewed one system esa.

Tech washed and serviced both units and found no challenges at this time. Tech replaced customer supplied pure air filters and Uv bulb. Both units are up heating and cooling properly at this time.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time (unit is 6 months old). Will need to bring 6 14x14x1 filters to all maintenances from now on out.

Tech arrived and found a 4 flash high limit switch code on ICB, tech reset and system ran without tripping out again tech inspected system and found no challenges with blower and blower speed, inspected duct system and found no challenges ducts are in good shape, heat exchanger has no cracks, tech found coil compacted with hair and debris tech suspects this is what is causing system to trip on high limit along with thicker filter. Tech cleaned coil and replaced filter with 1 month filter system is now back heating with no challenges, tech informed customer of issue persist we will need to replace limit switch. No charge due to recent visit.

Replaced 1 hose bib and repaired 2 others.

Customer wants to replace furnace only. AC side of system is 5 years old and in good condition. Waiting on Carrier to respond with information on which furnace will match with existing AC components.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found compressor to be pulling higher amps on start up tech recommended adding a hard start kit to lower start amps customer was interested but would like to wait due to the unit be invested older and knowing it will need to be replaced in the near future. Customer did not wish for tech to enter home due to dogs. Customer changes there own filters tech could not check delta t or thermostat. Customer did insure unit to be running before tech left.

Upon arrival tech found ice buildup on condensing coil, found failed defrost coil sensor. Confirmed with ohm meter. Will need to order sensor and return to replace. Customer approved estimate. Call to schedule repair.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time. Tech installed temp filters wile the cleaned able filters are drying. Unit is up heating and cooling properly at this time.

Upon arrival tech found low voltage fuse blown due to short in energy box. Bypassed box and ran gas heat, flame started to rollout when blower energized. Confirmed cracked heat exchanger with manometer. Also inspected AC and found no challenges. Field supervisor is scheduled to come out tomorrow.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found air handler to not be equipped with primary float switch or ez trap tech recommended adding customer would like to wait for now. The unit is up and heating and cooling properly at this time.
