Technician found gas valve would not open when called for. Technician quoted out replacing gas valve and got approval from customer. Technician replaced valve and adjusted pressure technician did have a challenge adjusting gas pressures but was able to adjust to proper pressure. System is heating properly at this time.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found drain line clogged tech could not seperate union tech spliced line flushed drain and added fernco onto line system is now properly draining. Tech also found fan cap testing below spec customer is aware of techs findings.

Tech was unsuccessful to connect the Trane 824 thermostat. Tech checked on comfort site for registration information and correct information was found. Tech attempted multiple times to connect the thermostat to the phone and the thermostat states that the thermostat has been registered already to a Trane home account. Tech rebooted the thermostat several times as well. Tech informed the customer that the thermostat may have to be replaced to get it to connect. Office will be informed of the findings and tech provided a manufacturer warranty thermostat price. Customer declined for now and will call back if they change their mind.

Upon arrival tech inspected number 7 gas furnace and found a safety fault, found pressure switch not closing properly due to clogged drain trap off inducer. Pulled and cleaned trap. System is back up and heating. Mr. Caughman also stated unit 4 was not working. Tech found blown 3 amp fuse at gas pack due to shorted contactor coil. Replaced contactor and tested, system is back up and heating.

Tech found system has call for heat but board is not letting power through tech suspects short due to excessive corrosion on board, tech arrived and found board received was not correct board, need low voltage control for furnace. Tech bypassed board with switch and can control unit and heat until board is replaced.

Tech arrived and thermostat was set to off with error code flashing for no temp sensor, tech turned heat on and turned off temp sensor in setting due to no sensor being wired in. All is good at this time and unit is back on and running at this time.

Tech also recommended extending PSA, customer approved and requested old price(606.34). Units are operating properly holding a delta T of 20.

- Tech found thermostat de-energizing Y after approximately 3 minutes of run time and energizing G constantly. Replaced thermostat for testing and found system operating normally. Approximately 2 minutes after shutting off, the blower motor started running with no call from thermostat and no call from blower control board. Tech advised customer that the module may be defective. Created estimate and customer opted to forego any further repairs at this time. - Tech replaced the failed Vision Pro thermostat. Cycled system 3 times and confirmed fan shutting off. System is operating normally at this time.

— Customer states system for Fellowship Hall not heating to satisfaction. Auxiliary heat has been running to keep up with demand from thermostat. — Verified low voltage call at compressor contactor but no operation of outdoor unit. Found no high voltage at fused outdoor disconnect. — Found circuit breaker for outdoor unit tripped. Reset breaker. Checked compressor capacitor and hard start capacitor; tested good. Performed megohmeter test on compressor. Compressor tested in the caution range, indicating compressor winding insulation is deteriorating and compressor may be due for failure. Monitored breaker while system ran to observe for any excessive heat, amp draws, etc. Found no issues with system operation after resetting breaker. — Observed cooling pressures of 104/173. System cuts out on high pressure, with pressures of 125/600+ in heat mode. Verified blower motor operating correctly. No restrictions in air flow at filter, ducts, or evaporator coil. - Tech was informed that the dining room vent has a large volume of air produced when the upstairs thermostat is calling for heat. Tech examined duct work and found that the downstairs damper is installed post-series after the duct running to the dining room (see attached written diagram). Both the upstairs and downstairs dampers are operating normally. When the upstairs damper is open (and downstairs damper closed), air flows directly into the dining room duct before it reaches the downstairs damper. This is resulting in decreased air flow reaching the upstairs space. - Tech recommends relocating the dining room duct, installing it after the downstairs damper, in series. This will improve air flow upstairs and avoid misdirected airflow. - Customer stated that the repair should be completed at no cost to the home owner, as this was an installer error. Upon arrival tech began inspecting GF #1 and found system tripped on a 3 flash fault pressure switch stuck open. Inducer draft motor was not receiving 120v to allow switch to close due to plug not being connected at ignition control board. Connected plug and started system, inducer came on closing pressure switch and system began heating. System is back operational at this time.

Call: Thermostat is blank {Lennox packaged heat pump} - Tech found failed transformer upon arrival due to failed heat sequencer and no fuse installed to protect the transformer. Transformer was replaced in February, 2024 with no fuse - did not charge for transformer on account of part warranty. Tech replaced the transformer and installed a fuse. Tech also replaced the failed heat sequencer and confirmed proper operation. - System is operating normally at this time with a heat delta T of 43 degrees with strips.

Replaced faucet in kitchen but did not replace lotion dispenser & took the new one with him. Took apart a Kohler faucet in bathroom to replace stems that I purchased. Said he could not replace them bc of corrosion and would have to charge me to put faucet back together so I was left with a disassembled faucet in my bathroom. Did not flush hot water heater as was concerned about causing damage & said new one would be approximately $3200. Another plumber had said new one approximately $1200. Services were very expensive.

Great service. Called Jackson & Sons around 10:30 am. HVAC had stopped cooling. Service Tech arrived before 2 pm. Had the problem solved in a very short time. Matthew also performed semi-annual maintenance on the HVAC and two Mini-Splits in my workshop. Had it all completed before 3:30 pm. Matthew was very knowledgeable and professional in his work.
