Tech preformed preventative maintenance and serviced system. Tech cycled heat to ensure system is heating properly for winter months. Tech found no challenges at this time. System is up and running with a delta t of 24.

Tech replaced inducer and inshot burners at no charge per office. Tested heat cycle without issue. Manifold pressure is 10" WC LP. No charge/service warranty.

Tech found inducer wheel broken apart. ComfortSite reports replacement part is BLW 1369 and that parts warranty is valid. Two inshot burners are highly corroded. Heat exchanger shows rust. Tech found no cracks or holes in heat exchanger. Gas pack is 9 years old. Neither inducer or burners are truck stock. Left W low voltage wire nut disconnected until heat can be repaired. Cooling mode is operating. System is not heating. No charge for callback. Tech quoted repair pricing.

Upon arrival tech began replacing rollout switch on Trane gas pack. Tech observed system operation for approximately 30-45 mins to ensure there were no more challenges. System is back operational at this time.

During ESA, tech found UV bulb to be blown. Tech recommends replacing UV bulb. Customer approved. No further issues found.

Upon arrival tech was informed that system had stopped heating again around 9pm the night before. Tech inspected system and found the resettable rollout switch was tripped again. Tech disconnected and bypassed switch to observe the flame with an inspection mirror and did not find see the flame coming out of the tubes. Tech also checked heat exchanger with blower on and manometer installed and got a 0.0” reading meaning heat exchanger does not have any cracks. Tech suspects roll out switch is failing and need to replace. System is still under warranty. Estimate was emailed to both emails on file and would like a time frame for getting the part in.

Tech found rollout switch was tripped. Tech reset switch and inspected system and found no challenges heat exchanger has rust but no holes at this time. Tech tested system found no challenges.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found blower extremely dirty tech pulled blower and cleaned thoroughly tech also found dual run capacitor testing weak. System back up and cooling.

Tech found only one leg of power to unit. Tech traced down electrical and found no disconnect was installed and high voltage was wirenutted together and stuffed behind the lineset cover. Tech explained the electrical was installed incorrectly and would need to be rewired by a trusted electrician or unit replaced with a trusted manufacturer brand installed by Jackson and sons.

Tech found thermostat lit up but screen was blank indicating a failed thermostat. Tech replaced thermostat and found normal operation. System is cooling properly. Thermostat picked up from truck 16.

Replaced a seized 3/4hp blower motor on a 90% furnace found by previous tech. Tested the blower operation, compressor also operated, costumer did state that he was going to take care of the outdoor capacitor on the condenser and also stated that they replaced their own fan motor as well.

FOUND 3/4HP 4 SPEED BLOWER MOTOR HAS FAILED. NEED TO ORDER AND RETURN TO REPLACE.

Tech found piece of foam insulation inside blower wheel causing really bad noise and causing suction pressure to drop. Tech fixed and found system running at correct pressures and cooling with 20 delta t.

Installing a bathroom tub for customer.

-Customer states odd sound from top of upside down air handler. Observed no obstructions at air filter or on return side of evaporator coil. Found unused flue mounted above return. Piping for sealed off flue loose and easily manipulated. Suspect vibrations or pest intrusion to old flue may have been cause of sound. System operated throughout call without issues. Unable to recreate or identify any odd sounds at time of visit.

Found an 18inch return flex duct with exposed inner liner with holes, 14 inch return is collapsed and is torn, 1 8inch supply run has exposed insulation with a hole on the inner liner. Another 8 inch supply run is completely exposed for mice to get in. Snake skin is laying on top. Tech quoted out the repairs and also recommended to have a visit from our field supervisor to provide a solution. Customer declined repairs and visit for now and stated that he will attempt to repair it himself first.

Tech arrived and found thermostat upstairs satisfied at 70. Tech checked system to see if there were any underlying issues. Tech found drain had clogged and got in aux pan. Aux drain was covered by trash. Tech cleared main drain and removed trash from aux drain. Primary drain is now draining properly and aux drain is allowing water to flow out. Everything is good at this time.

Upon arrival customer stated system is not heating and no airflow from vents. Tech found thermostat displaying indoor temp of 84 degrees with no call for heat. Tech noticed it was was much warmer at thermostat than rest of house. Gas wall heater is right beside thermostat and has been running, pilot light also always stays lit. Gas heater is satisfying thermostat cutting the system off while the rest of the house remains cool. Tech informed customer and customer turned heater off. Tech checked system to assure no issues and found no challenges. System is heating properly at this time. No charge per office.

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. Technician did not find any challenges while servicing equipment today. System is functioning properly and holding a delta t of 20 degrees. Customer renewed PSA via check.

Ignition control had a 4 flash for limit switch lockout. Tech found manually resettable rollout switch tripped. Reset switch and burners lit. Adjusted LP gas pressure from 11.1” WC to 10.0” WC. Checked heat exchanger. Found rust, but no cracks or holes. Tech allowed heat to run with panel closed for 10 minutes continuously. Rollout did not trip again. Customer also had questions about Wi-Fi message on tstat. Tech answered her questions. Wi-Fi is optional. Tech helped customer set up No charge for callback to adjust gas pressure. Customer’s daughter will try in a few days to create a Honeywell account. Tstat is already connected to Wi-Fi. Just needs to add CRC and MAC ID to add device.

Upon arrival tech began making repairs to return line under the house. Tech also replaced thermostat with VP8000 and a backplate. System started with no issues. Tech did mention that due to homeowner building addition to house that unit might not be properly sized anymore to cover new square footage and might still have air imbalances.

Upon arrival tech was told unit was not heating very well and there was not a lot of air coming through vents. Tech inspected Trane gas pack and found gas pressures low. Tech further inspected duct work under house and found return for system disconnected. Tech adjusted gas pressures for LP gas pack. Tech will return tomorrow with materials to make repairs to return under house and mount new VP8000 thermostat.

FOUND THERMOSTAT SET TO 68 CAUSING HEAT NOT TO RUN AS DESIRED. SET TO 70 PER REQUEST. CYCLED SYSTEM WITH NO CHALLENGES.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found evap coil to be rusted and leaking and also found compressor to be meging in the red. Tech called in feild supervisor, supervisor should be out tomorrow morning 1/30
