Tech arrived and found blank thermostat. Tech found that system had a low voltage short with no fuse in system causing transformer to fail. Tech repaired short location and replaced transformer, tech added 5 amp fuse on 24volt side to prevent failure of transformer in future. System is back on and working properly at this time.

Tech serviced and cleaned unit. Customer uses own filters. Tech found evaporator coil showing signs of rust. Tech not find any leaks. Tech faced no other challenges this visit. Tech recommends plasma air to improve indoor air quality and prevent bacteria build up in the future. Customer said she’ll have to do some research before any decisisons. Unit is heating and cooling efficiently.

GAS PACKAGE #1 UV LIGHT BULB HAS BURNED OUT, RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT OF UV BULB, THERE IS AN ESTIMATE PROVIDED FOR REPLACEMENT OF UV BULB. GAS PACKAGE #2 COMPRESSOR MEGGED IN CAUTION WHILE USING MEGAMETER TO TEST COMPRESSOR WINDINGS, COMPRESSOR MAY BE DUE FOR FAILURE IN NEAR FUTURE. Tech washed and serviced unit and found compressor to be ohming in the red along with a rusted and corroded evap coil found leak present tech called out field supervisor. Renewal was handled with field supervisor.

Found system keeping setpoint of 75 upon arrival. Stated system turned off and auxiliary heat appeared on thermostat. Cycled all system, heat strips and defrost mode with no challenges. Explained that when system goes into defrost cycle, OD fan will turn off and auxiliary heat will be energized until defrost is complete. No challenges at this time.

Tech performed service on trane split system & trane package unit. Delta t is within specification on both units and customer is satisfied with today’s service. Found no challenges at todays visit.

Performed ESA on (1) Mini split system. Invested in MPA for remaining (3) systems. Visit in 6 months will now be performed on all (4) systems and will continue on same schedule. Card on file for monthly drafts.

Tech replaced blower motor and verified blower cycling on and off with g call. Customer not home, could not test with thermostat. Tech could not reach customer for payment.

Hang and support 3 ducts and connect 2 ducts to the main trunk line. 3 ducts are missing support straps, 2 are disconnected and on the ground and 1 is hanging low.

Customer stated since power outage system has not been heating. Found 2, 6, and 7 flash codes upon arrival and system stuck in defrost mode. Reset power and defrost board showing 2 flash fault code instantly for shorted/open coil sensor with sensor testing well within ohm specs, and after forcing defrost board will not allow system to come out of defrost. Built estimate for warranty defrost control board. Need to order and return to replace. System is set to EmHeat for time being.
