Tech performed CMA inspection on 4 RTU gas packs, tech cycled all system with no challenges found to older gas packs have lots of rust on face plate of heat exchanger will need to keep an eye on it In the future. Changed all filters, tech found no challenges at this time.

Tech serviced and cleaned unit. Customer uses his own filters. Upon arrival tech found hood connection has dust build up. Tech informed customer and showed pictures. Tech found evaporator coil to be severely rusted but could not find a consistent leak. Tech faced no other challenges. Unit is heating and cooling efficiently.

Tech repaired duct connection to bathroom. Tech resecured duct connection with a zip tie.

Tech found thermostat showing sensor error and noticed the generac running. Customer stated the went out in the neighborhood due to a car accident. Tech pulled thermostat off and put it back on and found normal operation. Tech explained that this is a common issue if power is ever lost and showed customer how to pull thermostat off and put back on. System is heating properly at this time and home is running off generac power. Tech verified with the office that customer still has 1 more paid ESA visit.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time.

Tech serviced and cleaned unit. Tech found bacteria build up on the blower. Tech pulled and cleaned blower. Tech recommends plasma air. customer declined.Tech faced no other issues this visit(unit is 10 months old). Unit is heating and cooling efficiently.

Found fuse link for heat strips broken. Replaced fuse link and switched blower speed up from L to H for proper airflow. Cycled with no further challenges. Invested in ESA (1) system. Schedule 1st visit.

Tech found the upstairs system intermittently operating the condenser unit, tech tested the system in heat and checked for constant 24v to the condenser and it appeared to be losing it randomly. Tech noticed the thermostat was not sending constant 24v to the airhandler. Tech believes the thermostat got shorted when the heat strip contactor got shorted. Customer approved ordering/replacing the upstairs Trane 824 thermostat under manufacturer warranty(verified by our office). Tech temporarily installed a focus pro 5000 to get the system operating until we can return to install the new Trane 824 thermostat. System is heating as of now,

Tech found system on ideal tech turned system on and heat was operating. Technician found condenser not running with a 9 fault code. Indicting low superheat on cooling while running heat mode. Tech reset and found condenser to kick on and operating properly with 86/290 on heating. According to service facts pressures are operating properly. Upon further inspection tech found no issues with system. System is heat properly at this time. Tech informed customer to keep eye on it and inform us if issues happen again.

Tech found thermostat would engage and short out as soon as a call. Upon further inspection tech found heat strip contactor was shorted on the 24v side. Informed customer on findings and got approval to replace 2 pole 40 amp contactor. Once replaced tech cycled system. Found no other challenges at this time.

Tech washed and serviced unit. Tech found rusty evaporator coils but no leaks detected, customer is aware of units condition. Also found dirty blower, tech talked about plasma but customer not interested in IAQ products. Unit is operating properly and has a delta T of 19. Tech changed a 20x25x1 filter.

Tech washed and serviced system. No challenges found with unit at this time. Tech recommended Uv bulb replacement, customer not interested at this time. Tech also recommended extending PSA, customer did not extend todays but wants estimates sent in the mail and may extend after talking with husband. Unit is cooling with a delta T of 19. *Customer also had questions about a check received by Duke Energy after new Unit was installed*

Tech was informed that when customer turned on heating she would have to hit the motor to make it engage. Tech measured the capacitor and found it weak reading at 4.5 mfd needing 7.5mfd. Tech informed customer on findings and educated customer on maintenance. Customer has only electric furnace and no ac coil. Called office for pricing. Customer approved repairs and maintenance plan. Once replaced system started up with no issues.

Unable to change trim due to valve not be secured when try turn not lost it Ben water lines advise customer only thing can due know is cut back of wall to secure valve so work can be performed per me and Chris

Tech performed preventative maintenance and serviced system. Tech found uv bulb to be blown. Customer invested in uv bulb. Customer also invested in renewal. System is up and running. Tech couldn’t check delta t because no one was home.

Found compressor pulling above RLA rating at 16+ amps upon arrival. Capacitor/pressures within specs. Reversing valve switching properly. After runtime compressor is overheating and shutting down. Oil substance within terminal plug, rattling present, and reading within caution range. 9 year old system quoted warranty compressor and handed over to field supervisor. Costly repairs are not recommended.

Tech recommended uv light kit to help prevent microbial growth, enhance indoor air quality and help with system efficiency. Tech also recommended media filter to enhance indoor air quality and lower filter changes. Customer did not invest at this time. System is up and running with a delta t of 18.
