I woke to a cold house Saturday 1-30-21 and called Jackson and Son's around 7:00 am. They were very helpful and dispatched Mathew out to my house and he arrived around 11:00 am the same day! I knew Mathew from a previous visit too my residence. He was very professional, friendly and answered all my questions. He found the problem in a matter of minutes, explained what had happened and then replaced the defective switch and further did a systems check to make sure nothing else was amiss! Excellent Tech!!! My only gripe was I thought the switch was a little/ a lot pricey for a sensor switch the size of my thumb nail but if it doesn't work it doesn't work! Anyways great response time, excellent service as always. Did I mention the replacement part being a shocker? Lol, ya get what ya pay for!

Replaced evaporator coil. Recovered remaining 3lbs 5oz of R410A from system. Removed coil and filter drier, brazed in new coil and drier. New coil sits offset in pan due to new design. Evacuated system and weighed in 7lbs 8oz per factory spec. Upon startup found low pressure switch failing opening and closing without low refrigerant pressure issue. Switch is failing, bypassed switch. Need to call customer with price on replacing sweat on low pressure switch. System is running properly.

Bypassed switch and found low refrigerant pressures, performed leak search after approval. Located a leak at evaporator coil. Customer not interested in replacing system at this time, call as soon as possible with a quote on evaporator coil repair. System is 13 years old.

[email protected] Found the downstairs 2007 downstairs system in need of maintenance, system operated in heat mode, burners do need cleaning, compressor is life span is on the caution level(it could fail any time soon), evaporator coil is corroded and dirty. Blower fan 10mfd capacitor is reading below specs, dual run capacitor is reading way below specs, hard start kit is corroded around the seal. System would need to be cleaned properly for it to operate correctly and also be monitored for proper operation. System replacement is encouraged Upstairs split system- 2007 r22 model. The aftermarket Hard start kit is failed, 30/5 dual run capacitor is reading low, compressor life span if on the bad indicator, compressor is liable to fail anytime soon aftermarket hard start kit was added at some point to help prolong the life of the compressor. Due high repair bills, system replacement is encouraged. Customer wanted a low cost temporary repair until a field supervisor can provide a solutio

Tech did not find any further challenges with system operations at this time. Tech did find 20x30x1 filter stopped up and replaced. System is on and operating with good temp turn around at this time. All codes have cleared from thermostat at this time. Tech set thermostat to customers desired temperature and put on permanent hold. Maintenance will need to be completed.

- Tech replaced failed draft assembly and gasket under manufacturer warranty. - Cleaned burners and decreased gas outlet pressure from 10.98 to 10.08 to reduce corrosion damage. - Customer is aware of high moisture content drawn into the air intake due to the location of the unit. Confirmed proper operation with temperatures reading 84.9/129.0/117.9. - System is operating normally at this time.

- Tech found failed draft inducer upon arrival. Part under warranty; customer approved replacement estimate. Turned over to office. - Cleaned flame sensor and igniter and advised customer of corrosion on burner assembly. Need to check gas pressure when repair is complete. No charge due to membership.

Found system unable to ignite due to heavily rusted/corroded burners. Replaced (4) in-shot burners and cycled with no further challenges. Invested in ESA (1) system. Schedule 1st visit in 6 months.

Upon arrival tech was informed system was not heating. Inspected system and found the condenser not coming on due to a piece of wood wedged between the condenser fan blade and the shroud keeping the fan from spinning. Tech removed debris from system and everything came on. Checked amp draws and found the condenser fan motor rated at .64amps pulling .75amps. Customer wants to wait on replacing, emailed estimate for repair. System is back operational at this time.

Tech arrived to perform service and found fault code for low refrigerant. Tech leak searched system and found no leaks at this time. Whip tech was checking system operation in heat mode tech found condenser pumping down. Tech checked eev and sensors attached and found that steeper motor, transducer and suction line Temperature sensor need to be replaced after diagnosing parts failed, tech verified warranty with office and received estimate for repairs. Tech left power off to condenser to prevent any further damage to system. System still has heat from heat strips. Tech did not complete maintenance due to failed system and will need to complete maintenance after repairs have been made. Customer approved repairs need to order parts and schedule to return and complete repair. Transducer is brazed in and will have to recover and refill systems to complete repair. To complete maintenance coils and unit need to be washed.
