Tech found a blown fuse due to a shorted heat strip contactor. Tech replaced contactor and found normal operation. Tech reset thermostat to correct settings.

Tech found Ecobee settings not mis configured, however, heat pump operation started up but freezing between the outdoor piston and the liquid line. Refrigerant levels were low. Suction pressure of 36psi, airflow is good. Customer approved leak search and tech found a refrigerant leak at the indoor evaporator coil. Tech verified manufacturer warranty and provided an estimate to the homeowner. Tech did advised to not operate the heat pump as much for now due to prevent the compressor from overheating. Customer stated that he will review estimate and call us when ready.

Tech performed service on trane split system & trane package unit. As tech was performing service on upstairs unit, found unit to not be heating. Tech found capacitor to be swelled and reading weak. Recommend replacement of 40mfd capacitor. Replaced after customers approval. Cut power back on and system is heating. All ok at this time. Tech recommended (2) 20x20x3 media filters. Installed after customers approval. Customer invested in maintenance plan. Customer stated would only want tech to come for future services. Delta t is is within specification for upstairs unit after repair & downstairs unit and customer is satisfied with todays visit. Found no other challenges at todays visit.

Tech washed and serviced unit tech found no challenges at this time. Tech reccomended media filter due to not having a 20x20x1 on hand. Customer requested have a 20x20x1 dropped off. Unit is cooling with a delta T of 18.

Tech found breaker on but not allowing power through tech reset and ran system for 15 minutes with no challenges all amp draws are normal. If this happens again tech would recommend changing breaker.

Tech found system was on aux heat only tech found system was short cycling and causing aux heat to engage sooner and longer. Tech found found blower motor was not ramping fully on heating causing system to short cycle. Tech informed office for warranty on system. Technician quoted out warranty price as per office. Customer wants motor ordered technician did inform customer there still might be potential issues with refrigerant.

*Downstairs Gas Pack* - Customer informed tech: (1) Customer did not observe the igniter sparking; replaced the igniter. (2) Customer cleaned burners and did not find 24v entering the gas valve. (3) System cycles 3 times but doesn’t ignite any gas. - Tech found open rollout switch and reset it for testing. Confirmed 24v at gas valve and tested with a 24v contactor coil. - Inspected heat exchanger and found no cracks or lacerations. Measured gas pressure, reading 9.82 outlet. Confirmed draft inducer wheel is intact with no missing blades. - Cycled system 6 times and observed no challenges. System is operating normally at this time.

Apon arrival customer informed tech that heat was not working tech found inducer draft to be completely rusted all the fins off tech also found unit to be short cycling tech found oil in the drain pan and leak in coil tech found unit to be void refrigerant tech recommended inducer draft and coil replacement customer approved inducer draft at this time will call back closer to summer to have evap coil replaced. Tech washed and serviced unit and found no further challenges at this time.

Tech replaced a variable speed blower motor o the system located in the attic by the breeze way and replaced the primary drain pan that was cracked by the exit threaded port. Tech pumped down the system to have access to remove the coil and replace the pan, pressure tested and evacuated the system below 500 microns. Tested system and drainage of water afterwards. Tech collected via check. Tech recommended maintenance on 4 split system, systems have not been maintenanced in approximately 5 years. Mrs. Stewart would like a maintenance proposal. Field supervisor will be informed. Send paper copy of the invoice by regular mail per customer request.

Tech found the pilot light was not on. Once tech relit pilot light tech had to reset breaker to get power. Once tech cycled system tech found thermostat was stuck and would not shift heat to cool to off. Tech removed thermostat from other down unit. System started up. System is heating at this time. Other 3 units are down.
