— Customer states gas package unit not heating properly. States system was working fine until recently. — Found call from thermostat initializing induced draft motor but system does not try to ignite. No observable air flow at inducer motor exhaust. Presented customer with estimate for System Operation Inspection to further investigate issues with system. Customer approved operation test. — Found induced draft motor wheel completely disintegrated inside housing. Immediate recommendation is replacement of induced draft assembly. Provided estimate. Customer declines repair at this time. — Discussed having a Field Supervisor dispatched to provide options to customer moving forward. Customer approved dispatching Field Supervisor while technician was on site. — Continued inspecting overall condition of system. Informed customer that we would not be able to get an accurate picture of the condition of the refrigerant components in AC mode due to outdoor temperature. Blower motor capacitor
Tech serviced and cleaned unit. Tech found evaporator coil to be severely rusted. Tech also found compressor capacitor rating at 34/45 MFD. Tech recommends dual run replacement and ez trap. Tech also informed customer about ESA renewal. Customer would like to wait to talk to her husband before any payments. Unit is heating and cooling efficiently.
Tech washed and serviced unit and found Uv bulb to be blown tech recommended replacement and also mentioned plasma air and explained the benefits and how it had lower maintenance customer will have to wait for both at this time. Unit is up heating and cooling properly at this time
Performed ESA, tech found no issues at today visit. System has been serviced and is back on and cooling/heating. Discussed plasma air purifier for the whole home, wants to read it over before making a decision.
Customer replaced 5 amp fuse with a 10 amp and transformer burnt out. Tech found the fuse was blowing due to a shorted yellow thermostat wire against the condenser cabinet. Tech covered repairing the short under warranty since maintenance was done not too long ago, but charged for transformer. Tech replaced transformer and repaired wire, system is now cooling properly.
Tech washed and serviced unit and found bacterial growth inside of blower cabinet tech cleaned throughly tech recommended plasma air.
Tech found system cooling with 14 delta t upon arrival, found upstairs system low on refrigerant. Customer was not interested in leak search or service agreement just wanted system charged, tech charged with 3lbs of 410 a to correct specs system now cooling with 18 delta t.
Tech washed and serviced and found no challenges at this time. Tech replaced 60 amp breaker with 60 amp and taped hot wires on outside disconnect and inside breaker panel. Customer purchased media filter. Customer paid via check. Customer would like invoice mailed.
Tech found 7 year old mini split low on refrigerant and informed customer there is a leak and quoted a leak search. Customer only wanted system recharged for now to get system back cooling properly.
Upon arrival tech noticed thermostat set heat the house to 87 on emergency heat further inspection tech found auxiliary drain pan full of water as well as a blown 5 amp fuse. System is back up and cooling.tech installed ez trap and float switch on system.
Tech found a blank thermostat due to a pressure switch wire shorted against the pressure switch. Tech repaired wire, insulated the pressure switch and replaced fuse. System is now back up and cooling.
Customer wants return moved to where old air handler was, wants return grate in wall. Will need to put return box in closet and connect 16” return to collar in crawl space. Field supervisor going to get in contact with customer on price and when we can do the job.
Tech found a failed capacitor causing compressor and fan not to start. Tech verified drain is working properly and system is in otherwise good condition. Tech recommends a maintenance plan. Customer agreed to monthly ESA. Tech replaced capacitor and verified system is now cooling.
Tech performed esa on trane split heat pump, found no challenges at todays visit
Upon arrival tech found system running, monitored pressures and found high suction and head pressure as well as low superheat and high subcooling indicating system is overcharged. Tech checked evaporator coil and condenser coil, evaporator coil is slightly dirty but old. Condenser is not clogged. Tech found no airflow issues except some registers are slightly restrictive. Also blocked fresh air vent above evap, high heat load. Tech recovered 10oz of R410a to get subcool and superheat within spec. System is cooling with an 18 degree delta t. Recommended keeping doors open and going in and out as little as possible. Also recommended to tenant changing supply registers.

Tech performed ESA, Tech recommended adding eztrap to drain line to have better flow and easy access to drain. Tech also found excessive amounts of bacterial growth in system and recommended addition of plasma to prevent issue from occurring and getting in ducts and home. tech found no other issues at todays visit. System is back on and operating properly at this time. Tech did not have 14x25x1 filter. Mail hardcopy of invoice and estimate to customers address.
CUSTOMER STATED CONDENSER WAS CONTINUOUSLY RUNNING WITH THERMOSTAT IN OFF POSITION. UNABLE TO DUPLICATE CHALLENGE AT THIS TIME, BUT FOUND COMPRESSOR CONTACTOR EXTREMELY PITTED LIKELY WELDING SHUT INTERMITTENTLY. REPLACED 30A 1 POLE CONTACTOR. CHECKED WIRING FOR SHORTS. CYCLED SYSTEM WITH NO CHALLENGES.
Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time (unit is 6 months old)
Called Mr. Miller with updated proposal, he has to talk everything over with his wife.
Upon arrival, tech noticed condenser not running. Tech performed ESA on air handler in attic, coil is leaking and has been for a while, decent amount of oily residue in pan, tech recorded videos of leak detector on high and low sensitivity. Yellow wire on condenser not receiving voltage, tech did not notice any damage to yellow wire. Tech pushed in contactor and system powered on, amp readings were fine. Compressor megohmed yellow at 150, Caleb was out here last April for previous techs findings. Tech informed homeowner of all findings. Secondary drain line flows into primary drain line, no float switches are installed on system. Thermostat is out dated. Drain line is not properly insulated. Tech mentioned different upgrades that could be installed and that supervisor will go over all information with him. Tech did not call dispatch until latter end of service to verify both compressor and coil were faulty/failing from previous techs diagnosis. Fan left on upon departure. Unable to co
Tech found no high or low voltage present at transformer. 250v present at contractor. Tech traced transformer high voltage wires and found the 230 connection fell off the contactor. Tech put wire back on and made sure connection was good. System is now up and running.

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. Per customer request, the technician did not enter the home due to his wife being sick. Tech was unable to check delta t, swap filters, or inspect thermostat. Tech cleaned and serviced the outside package unit. No challenges were present today. Customer renewed ESA via card.
